What Cadence Collects
When you use Cadence, we collect the following information:
- Email address — used to create and manage your account.
- Name (optional) — displayed on your profile within the app.
- Run data — distance, duration, and feel rating for each run you log. All run data is entered manually by you.
- Journal entries — text you write or dictate after a run. If you use voice journaling, speech recognition runs entirely on your device using Apple's built-in engine. No audio is recorded, stored, or transmitted to any server. Only the transcribed text is saved.
- Push notification token — used to send you training reminders on the days you choose.
- Basic diagnostics — crash reports and app performance data to help us fix bugs.
